‘David Bowie In Berlin’ is a portrait drawn from footage of Bowie’s Berlin-era performances. That period has always stood out to me—the intensity, the posture, the sharp confidence. The red suit, the hair, the focus. It felt like a moment that needed to be painted.
Rather than aiming for nostalgia, I wanted to capture the presence he carried during that time—controlled, electric, and fully inhabiting himself.
