‘LOVE ENERGY’ was a commissioned piece that pushed me outside my comfort zone. I had the core idea from the start, but there were a lot of possible directions, and the painting really revealed itself as I worked. That openness became part of the process.
The intention was to express optimism—about the endurance of love, and about the focus it takes to bring something meaningful into being. I let the piece unfold naturally rather than forcing it into a fixed outcome, and I’m satisfied with where it landed.
