‘Voyage’ was painted in Miami in 2024. It features one of my iconic skulls, layered with recurring symbols that show up throughout my work — spirits in the eyes, Sparkie in the nose, a third eye, and a guiding figure.
This piece feels like movement to me. Not travel in a literal sense, but the feeling of being carried forward by forces you can’t fully see or control. Painting it felt intuitive rather than planned, like following a current instead of steering.
