'CHARLIE CHAPLIN' 11x14" Framed Acrylic Painting On Bristol
This is my portrait of Charlie Chaplin. This came to be because of an Instagram prompt. I am a fan of Charlie's though. As a kid my dad was really into Abbot and Costello, and I feel like I was exposed to Charlies early work in one of those all day TBS marathons or something of the sort. I really like this image and the reference image that it was based on. The dented hat and the expression of exasperation.... we've all had those kinds of days!
A lot of people assume that this is a pen and ink illustration, but it is actually a painting. I used black acrylic on bristol. The black and white of the artwork pairs beautifully with the black frame and white mat. This original acrylic painting is 11x14" on bristol and comes framed. The exterior dimensions of the frame are 14.75x17.75" This artwork is part of my Black and White Collection as well as my Without Words Collection. It is a crossover! This beautiful original is matted and ready to hang on your wall!
