This expressionist style painting was my first painting of 2020. It really kind of set the tone for me for the year and has been buoying me through some very tough times. Although 2020 has been a hard year for everyone, it has also been a year of a lot of professional growth for me. Many ideas that have been on the back burner suddenly find themselves manifested and completely real. It is awesome and humbling when I think of it.
