'THE CONTENDER' 6X11" Mixed Media Painting

I often think of our essence being right behind the eyes.  The eyes can show so much.  With practice they can also hide an incredible amount.

I titled this painting 'THE CONTENDER'.  What do you see behind his eyes?  Fear?  Determination?  Focus?  We are all contenders facing off against our dreams.  What do you bring to the fight?
