'LAMBRETTA SCOOTER' Limited Edition Fine Art Giclee Print
This limited edition fine art giclee print is part of my Early Works Collection. It features a Lambretta Scooter, casually parked on the very edge of a sidewalk. Twenty years later and I'm still obsessed with these scooters.
This painting was done after I had moved back east to NJ. I remember that I used two references. The building was from a photo I believe that was buried in some Counting Crows album art. Sorry I can't remember exactly which one now. The scooter was on a postcard sized advertisement for Tower Records...the type that were free, just laying in a pile in between the two sets of doors. So nostalgic! Well, more for tower records, than Counting Crows, which really didn't hold up for me.
This print is made with archival quality pigments printed on Moab Entrada 190 Bright paper. This print comes in either 8.5x11" or 4x6" sizes. Each variant is a limited run edition of 40 prints, with each print being numbered and signed by the artist. The 8.5x11" are the first edition, and the 4x6" are the 2nd edition. Both sized prints are shipped in a protective cellophane sleeve.
