‘UNDERSTANDING’ makes everything in life easier. When I think about the hardest things I’ve faced in life the thing that they have in common is that I had a really hard time understanding them in the moment.
It’s ironic then that so many of us avoid putting in the work to really understand ourselves. Could this be related to our feeling of being misunderstood? Can we really understand someone else when we resist putting in the work to understand ourselves? Can we expect to be seen when we refuse to look ourselves?
We’re all constantly changing and getting distracted. This skull is meant to remind us that ‘UNDERSTANDING’ is a pursuit, not a destination.
